<p>The method involves determining a reference signal by applying a process to a noisy audio signal for attenuating voice components in the audio signal by utilizing predictive least mean square (LMS) algorithm. Probability of presence/absence of voice is determined from respective energy levels in a spectral range of the audio and reference signals. A noise spectrum is estimated, and a noise reduction value is derived from the audio signal by utilizing the probability.</p> |
