PURPOSE: A stringer for a photovoltaic module production facility is provided to improve productivity by decreasing time for cleaning, repairing, and maintaining a soldering tip. CONSTITUTION: A transfer unit(110) transfers a cell(2) and a cell connector ribbon(3) along a continuous working line. A welding unit(120) is arranged on the upper side of the transfer unit. A soldering tip(121) thermally pressurizes the cell connection ribbon to the cell. A protection film is arranged between the soldering tip and the cell connection ribbon. A protection film feeder(200) feeds the protection film.
