TEMPORAL INTERPOLATION OF THREE DIMENSION DEPTH IMAGE METHOD AND APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A 3D depth video time interpolation method and apparatus thereof are provided to enable a user to acquire a high accuracy 3D video by integrating a depth video with a color video in a desired time. CONSTITUTION: A temporal interpolation unit(140) interpolates depth videos in which are created from a depth camera according to a temporal interpolation method. A middle depth video creation unit(150) creates a middle depth video at a new time. A movement area extraction unit(120) extracts a movement area which includes a moving object in the depth video. A relation acquisition unit(130) acquires a relation within the extracted movement area.
