STRESS REDUCTION IN ELECTRICAL MACHINES

PURPOSE: A rotor for reducing stress of an electric device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to form a hole on a rotor laminate, thereby reducing the weight of a rotor. CONSTITUTION: A core unit forms a rotation axis of a rotor. An external profile forms a plurality of protrusion rods(52). Each protrusion rod comprises a hole(50) formed by a closed outline. The hole reduces peak stress of the rotor. The closed outline has two sides which faces each other.
