PURPOSE: An alpha-xylosidase mutant of proton-donor/acceptor catalyst is provided to obtain transflycosylation products with high yield. CONSTITUTION: An alpha-xylosidase mutant is prepared by substituting 482th amino acid residue, aspartate with serine. The alpha-xylosidase mutant is prepared by mutating by site mutation, random mutation, and selection among natural microorganism genomes. The alpha-xylosidase mutant is prepared using a recombinant microorganism. A transglycosylation is performed using the alpha-xylosidase mutant as a translycosylation catalyst.
