PURPOSE: A ball joint is provided to improving the lubricating performance by continuously spreading the lubricating oil in a ball stud through the installation of return spring and plate. CONSTITUTION: A ball joint comprises a ball stud(10), a ball sheet(11), a return spring(14), a plate(15), a lubricating oil and a diffusion groove(17). The ball sheet comprises an accommodating groove(11a). The accommodating groove accepts the lubricating oil. The return spring is installed in the accommodating groove and supports the plate. The plate is moved up and down in the rotational motion of the ball stud. The plate diffuses the lubricating oil accepted to the accommodating groove to the diffusion groove of the ball sheet. The lubricating oil is spread between the ball stud and ball sheet and reduces the frictional force. The diffusion groove is formed in the upper end of the accommodating groove along the inner circumference of the ball sheet into the radial direction. |
