PURPOSE: A composition for preventing post-harvest disease of citrus fruit or sweet potato is provided to antifungal activity against Penicillium digitatum and/or P. italicum. CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing post-harvest disease of citrus fruit or sweet potato contains Lysimachia mauritiana Lamack extract, fraction of the extract, anagallosaponin IV, anagallosaponin VIII, or anagallisin C as an active ingredient. The extract is prepared by dipping Lysimachia mauritiana Lamack in a mixture solvent of water and ethanol. The fraction is a fraction of a solvent layer or a fraction of hexane layer or butanol layer. The composition additionally contains agrochemically acceptable carrier, wetting agent, dispersion agent, thickening agent, or preservative. |
