PURPOSE: A control system and apparatus for a vehicle is provided that by using the signal which becomes in the impact sensing sensor, the instrument included in the vehicles is controlled. The user can control the various devices only by adding impact to rim. CONSTITUTION: A control system and apparatus for a vehicle comprises an impact sensing sensor(150), a vehicle controlling device(200), an impulse signal extracting unit, and a control signal generating unit. The impact sensing sensor is installed in the rim of a steering wheel(100). The vehicle controlling device analyzes the input signal which becomes in the impact sensing sensor, is created the control signal of the instrument included in the vehicle. The impulse signal is extracted from the vehicle controlling device is the input signal. The control signal at least becomes among the resultant position of the impulse signal and peak value and continuous recovery according to one. The impulse signal is extracted from the input signal which the impulse signal extracting unit is input from the impact sensing sensor, extracts the impulse signal more than the set first peak value in the allowed range. The control signal generating unit is created the control signal of the instrument included in the vehicle.
