The drum (1) has a housing including a pivot axle (A) that rotates around the drum, where the housing includes a tubular housing casing part (2) with front and rear walls. An outer side of the housing is provided with a liquid jet-generating device (3) communicating with an inner side of the housing for generating a liquid jet (WS) that is directed into the inner side of the housing and/or on the drum. The liquid jet-generating device includes a regenerated-flow channel (4) that consists of an inlet opening (4a) provided on an outer side of the drum.
