PURPOSE: A light emitting device is provided to install a through hole sealing member in a through hole, thereby preventing moisture insertion between a joint connector and a socket connector. CONSTITUTION: An LED module(1) includes an LED(11), a circuit pattern(13) for electrically connecting with the LED, and an insertion hole(12). The joint connector comprises a connecting lead which is electrically connected with the circuit pattern to supply external power. The joint connector is separately fixed to the insertion hole. A heat sink(31) contacts the rear side of the LED module. A holding panel(32) contacts the rear side of the heat sink. A socket connector is coupled with the joint connector. An LED waterproof unit prevents insertion of moisture from the joint connector and the LED module.
