<p>A construction element that includes at least 10% by weight of cement, particulate filler material comprising primarily of one ingredient or a mixture of at least two ingredients, and ethylene and vinyl acetate copolymer. The ingredient or ingredients are selected from the group consisting of particulate wood, recycled polystyrene powder, particulate expanded volcanic silicous rock (perlite), waste perlite, particulate elastomeric material, fly ash, crushed rock but not limestone, particulate paper, other cellulosic materials and sand. The components are mixed together in the presence of water, formed into a shape suitable as a construction element, and allowed to set and harden.</p> |
