<p>PURPOSE: A disk material, a manufacturing method, and a disk roll of a base material for the same are provided to prevent cracks on the disk materials by reducing and absorbing stress which causes a thermal expansion difference. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a base material for a disk material is as follows. A disk roll is formed by arranging multiple ring-shaped disk materials(12) in a rotary shaft(11). A slurry material having inorganic fiber, inorganic filler, and inorganic binder is molded in a plate shape and is dried. The inorganic fiber is amorphous, or the crystallization rate of the inorganic fiber is less than 50%.</p> |
