CONE TYPE CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION SYSTEM FOR FRONT ENGINE FRONT WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLE

PURPOSE: A corn shaped continuously variable transmission system for an all-wheel drive vehicle is provided to improve power transmission efficiency by reducing a slip between a ring and a cone depending on the position of a cross section of the ring. CONSTITUTION: A first cone(3) has a cone shape along an central axis or a rotary shaft. The central axis or the rotary shaft is parallelly arranged with the rotary shaft of the first cone in a second cone(7). A ring drive part enables a transmission ring to revolve around the rotary shaft. A power leading-in part transfers torque to one of the first cone and the second cone. A transmission ring(9) is inscribed while surrounding one of the first cone and the second cone.
