METHOD FOR DIAGNOSTICS OF GASTRO-ESOPHAGEAL REFLUX DISEASE IN PATIENTS OF RHEUMATOLOGICAL PROFILE

Method for diagnostics of gastro-esophageal reflux disease in patients of rheumatological profile is in fact that the patient is investigated, with spectrophotometric method one determines optical density of sample of saliva of patients taken at empty stomach after cleaning teeth and careful washing of oral cavity with distillated water, with measurement of concentration of calcium in saliva of patient. Depending on index of concentration of calcium in saliva of patient one diagnoses gastro-esophageal reflux disease.
