METHOD FOR PRODUCTION OF ABRASIVE MATERIAL

A method for production of abrasive material with a programmable arrangement of grains of superhard materials (SHM) mainly for manufacture of a working layer of abrasive tools including preparing a base from a mixture of metal powders with other components, its layered filling and layered distribution of SHM grains according to a programmed pattern, layered pre-pressing, briquetting and sintering abrasive material in a mold under pressure followed by cooling. The intermediate free of SHM grains sections of base are filled with formed briquettes of the base with artificial abrasive grains or abrasive grains of mineral natural raw material.
