A process for the preparation of potassium permanganate by means of alloying potassium alkali in the presence of atmospheric oxygen with pyrolusite by treatment of produced potassium permanganate with chlorine and preparation of potassium permanganate and potassium chloride, consists in that potassium chloride is treated with acids: nitric or sulphuric, or phosphorus, or with mixture thereof in the presence of manganese ore with preparation of chlorine and mineral compounds of potassium and manganese. |
