PURPOSE: A method for preparing alkoxylated modified unsaturated polyester resins and paints comprising the resin are provided to solve the degradation of hardening properties through aniline additives. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing alkoxylated modified unsaturated polyester resins comprises the steps of: preparing an alkyd intermediate by condensing polyhydric alcohols represented by chemical formula 1: HO-R_1-OH and polybasic acids represented by chemical formula 2: HOOC-R_2-COOH; stirring the resultant while maintaining the temperature of the alkyd intermediate to 60-120°C and reacting a trimethylolpropane triacrylate compound represented by chemical formula 3 with methylmethacrylate.
