Method for determination of level of acute lethal toxicity of return water is in introduction of ceriodaphnia to control water and water under investigation, exposition during 48 hours without feeding ceriodaphnia, calculation of live ceriodaphnia and calculation of percent of dead ceriodaphnia in water under investigation with respect to number of live ceriodaphnia in control water in 48 hours of exposition with following evaluation of toxicity of water by criterion of death of 50 % and more of ceriodaphnia. As water under investigation one uses return water of which one prepares a set of dissolutions in which exposition of ceriodaphnia is carried out, and at the end of experiment one calculates live ceriodaphnia with calculation of percent of dead ceriodaphnia in control water, return water and dissolutions of return water, with determination of level of toxicity of return water through calculation of its average lethal dissolution with account of experimentally determined coefficient that provides survival of ceriodaphnia about 100 %. |
