The invention relates to metal forming. A method for producing hollow parts with branches includes forming by internal pressure and face upset of a workpiece. According to the first invention, when a branch, which is formed by moving support elements, reaches required height its end face butts with a rigidly mounted hollow punching element, which cutting edge penetrates into the face and punches a hole therein, under pressure the volume of an elastic filler in the cavity of branch increases and performs alignment of the branch wall. A device for manufacturing hollow parts with branches has a split die, pressure upset punches, an elastic filler, a system of face support of the branch bottom. According to the second invention, the system of face support of a branch bottom consists of a container rigidly secured in a die, an adjusting screw and adjustable elements of the system of face support, which include a support plate, a hollow punching element with a cutting edge, inside which there are located a mobile support element and an elastic dilator, a draw plate, through which is displaced an elastic dilator, a cylinder forming space for displaced elastic dilator. The invention provides for reduction of complexity of the manufacturing process of hollow components with branches such as tees and cross pieces, increase of the coefficient of material use, increase of the height of the branch of produced component, improvement of technical and economic parameters of the process. |
