Provided is a method to examine a sample for the presence or absence of material derived from one or more transgenic plant events in Zea mays, Brassica napus, Glycine max, Oryza sativa, Beta vulgaris, Gossypium or Solanum tuberosum, comprising the step of performing PCR for multiple nucleic acids simultaneously at the same temperature cycling conditions using a list of specified primer pairs suited to each plant and transgenic construct to be detected.
