<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared imaging lens which has excellent imaging performance and workability. <P>SOLUTION: An infrared imaging lens is comprised of, in order from the object side, a first lens G1 and a second lens G2. Both the first lens G1 and the second lens G2 have a positive meniscus shape with a convex surface facing the object side. At least one of the first lens G1 and the second lens G2 comprises chalcogenide glass and has one or more diffractive optical surfaces. All surfaces of the first lens G1 and the second lens G2 are desirably aspherical. The chalcogenide glass has a transmittance of 60% or higher in a wavelength range from 3 μm to 13 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
