<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an assist to an output of an AC machine by a battery output even when a battery voltage is lower than an AC machine output voltage. <P>SOLUTION: The generator 1 has an AC machine 3 driven by an engine 2 and a battery 4 and supports generated power from the AC machine 3 by the output power of the battery 4. An inverter circuit 52 is connected to the output side of a rectification circuit 51. A DC-DC converter 9 boosts a voltage of the battery 4 and inputs the boosted voltage into a constant-power regulator 21. The constant-voltage regulator 21 is a set-up converter, boosts an input voltage and maintains constant electric power. The output voltage of the rectification circuit 51 is monitored by monitoring means 30a, and the output voltage of the battery 4 is monitored by monitoring means 29a. When the output voltage of the rectification circuit 51 is equal to or below a rated voltage, an auxiliary power value corresponding to a battery remaining capacity is set as a power target value of the constant-power regulator 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
