<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery protection device capable of suppressing increase in consumption speed of a secondary battery even if a protection function for the secondary battery is activated. <P>SOLUTION: The battery protection device includes a temperature detecting element R3, a charge controlling logical circuit 24 which protects a secondary battery 200 from overcharging by turning off a charge controlling FET 1 according to the temperature detected with the temperature detecting element R3, a discharge controlling logical circuit 25 which protects the secondary battery 200 from overdischarging by turning off a discharge controlling FET 2, and a constant voltage circuit 60 which stops supply of constant bias to the temperature detection element R3 during protection operation against overdischarging from the secondary battery 200. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
