<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillator capable of obtaining oscillation waveform with low distortion without a filter inserted to a latter part. <P>SOLUTION: An oscillator 100 includes a cross-coupled inverter 10 having a first transistor M1 and a second transistor M2, which are MOSFETs. The oscillator 100 is configured to establish the following relation among voltage between a gate and a source Vgs 1 and Vgs 2, voltage between a drain and the source Vds 1 and Vds 2, and threshold voltage between the gate and the source Vth 1 and Vth 2 of each of the first transistor M1 and the second transistor M2 during oscillation operation: Vds1≤Vgs1-Vth1, and Vds2≤Vgs2-Vth2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
