<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep track of a user state of a portable mobile terminal remotely and easily, and to manage a schedule of the portable mobile terminal. <P>SOLUTION: A schedule management system includes: a portable mobile terminal 1; a dedicated module 2 attached to the portable mobile terminal 1; and a management terminal 3, connected to the portable mobile terminal 1 in such a way that communication is allowed, for managing a schedule of a user having the portable mobile terminal 1. The portable mobile terminal 1 with the dedicated module 2 attached performs authentication processing with the management terminal 3. The management terminal 3 transmits management data for setting a schedule to the portable mobile terminal 1 if the authentication processing has been completed properly. The portable mobile terminal 1 registers the management data received from the mobile terminal 3 to the dedicated module 2.
