<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pogo pin type press contact type connector which reduces processing costs compared with the traditional connectors, can be easily made short in height and prevents a problem of instantaneous interruption resistance property. <P>SOLUTION: In this press type connector, a cylinder hole 40 for attaching a pogo pin is provided in an insulating housing 10 which is molded, a pogo pin 31 is installed in the cylinder hole 40 while being pressed to the projection direction by a coil spring 12, and a contact which integrally includes a contact spring piece 22 which protrudes in the cylinder hole 40 and is always pressed against the pogo pin 31 as well as a base connection terminal part 13c is fixed to the housing 10.
