<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressurized water-type nuclear reactor which enhances the homogeneity of the flow rate distribution of coolant at the inlet port of the reactor core and can suppress the variation in flow of the coolant flowing into the reactor core. <P>SOLUTION: A pressurized water-type nuclear reactor 1 includes a nuclear reactor vessel 3 with a bottom and a cylindrical shape, a reactor core bath 9 in a cylindrical shape received in the nuclear reactor vessel 3 and defining with the inner surface of the nuclear reactor vessel 3 an annular flow channel 12 for leading coolant to one end of the nuclear reactor vessel 3, and a coolant inlet nozzle 6 communicating with the circular flow passage 12 provided in the nuclear reactor vessel 3 and having a center axis which is, at the connection part with the nuclear reactor vessel 3, inclined to the other side of the nuclear reactor vessel 3 with respect to the surface orthogonal to the center axis of the nuclear reactor vessel 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
