<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct a conference call, preferably a video conference call, using an improved electronic book viewer and/or an electronic book delivery system. <P>SOLUTION: A electronic book viewer comprises a memory, a video display, a speaker, a microphone, a transmitter and a receiver. Data representing an electronic book can be stored in the memory and displayed on the video display. The transmitter is connected to the microphone, and the speaker is connected to the receiver. The transmitter and the receiver have a sufficient bandwidth for providing a conference call. The electronic book viewer also comprises a processor and conference-call software. The processor is connected to other components, and the conference-call software operates on the processor to allow the electronic book viewer to be used for the conference call.
