<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage type water heater preventing running-out of hot water induced by operational error of an estimated heat storage amount to an actual heat storage amount, and improving usability for users. <P>SOLUTION: The storage type water heater includes a hot water storage tank 1 for storing hot water, and temperature sensors 5a-5f disposed at prescribed intervals in the longitudinal direction of the hot water storage tank 1 and detecting a temperature of hot water/water in the hot water storage tank 1. The estimated heat storage quantity in the hot water storage tank 1 is calculated on the basis of the hot water/water temperature in the hot water storage tank 1 detected by the temperature sensors 5a-5f. A display part 25a is disposed to display remaining-water information relating to the hot water remaining in the hot water storage tank 1. When the estimated heat storage quantity Qcal is a prescribed threshold value Qthr or more, the remaining hot water information based on the estimated heat storage quantity Qcal is displayed on the display part 25a, and when the estimated heat storage quantity Qcal becomes smaller than the threshold value Qthr, the remaining hot water information based on a temporary heat storage quantity Qtmp smaller than the estimated heat storage amount Qcal, is displayed on the display part 25a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
