<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve energy saving by controlling a traffic signal light with photovoltaic power generation and wind power generation, and maintain smooth and safe control of an intersection traffic flow in a state of emergency such as a power failure of commercial power supply. <P>SOLUTION: A traffic signal control device comprises: power supply means composed of a solar cell panel, a wind power generator and a battery; storage means for signal aspects of a plurality of traffic signal lights; setting storage means for aspect step time; signal control means; and light opening/closing means. The traffic signal control device controls power supply timing of each signal indicator light such as red, yellow, and green in all the traffic signal lights at an intersection, and lights the traffic signal lights. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
