<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection control device of an internal combustion engine, capable of favorably performing combustion by self-ignition, by properly setting injection amounts injected from a port fuel injection valve and a cylinder fuel injection valve, respectively, while suppressing a variation of combustion and a generation amount of smoke. <P>SOLUTION: Fuel is injected from the port fuel injection valve 8 during an intake stroke, and fuel is injected from the cylinder fuel injection valve 6 during a compression stroke. Then, a kindling fire is generated by burning mixed air generated by the fuel form the cylinder fuel injection valve 6, and combustion by the self-ignition is performed. Furthermore, a total requirement fuel amount GFTOTAL per cylinder 3a required to the engine 3 is calculated (step 1), a cylinder injection amount GFDI is set to 3 to 11% of the total requirement fuel amount GFTOTAL (step 10 to 14), and a port injection amount GFPI is set to be a difference between the total requirement fuel amount GFTOTAL and the cylinder injection amount GFDI (step 15). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
