<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LD control device or the like that prevents gradation density variations in low density image, and color tinge variations by preventing variations in lighting width between each LD element. <P>SOLUTION: The LD control device of the image forming apparatus includes: an LD lighting means for varying the lighting width on a basis of one pixel or less; an LD lighting width measurement means for detecting the LD lighting width; and LD lighting controlling means for controlling the LD lighting width of the LD lighting means based on results of the LD lighting width measurement means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
