<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet head that can clean a nozzle hole of an ink jet head by an air flow generated in an air flow generation mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: The ink jet head includes: a plate which includes a nozzle hole which extends along a one direction, and discharges an ink, a channel which extends in the different direction from the one direction and communicates with the nozzle hole, and an ink discharge hole which communicates with the channel and discharges the ink to a discharged object; and an air flow generation mechanism which generates an air flow which flows toward the other end of the channel at the side of opposite with the end of the channel along the different direction from the one direction from one end of the channel, wherein the ink in the channel is ejected from the other end of the channel to the external part by the flow of the air generated by the air flow generation mechanism. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
