<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration in piezoelectric electric properties or ink properties by cooling an piezoelectric element heated when high-viscocsity liquid is ejected with high frequency in a liquid ejection apparatus using the piezoelectric element. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid ejection apparatus includes: an orifice plate 102 for forming an ejection port 103 from which liquid drop is ejected; and a plurality of piezoelectric elements 101 disposed with intervals so as to form a plurality of lining-up spaces. The plurality of spaces are alternatively used as an ink chamber 104 and a temperature control liquid passage 105 in an array direction of the piezoelectric elements. The ink chamber 104 forms a passage where an ejection liquid is supplied and communicates with the ejection port 103.
