<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stirring/defoaming technique exhibiting an excellent stirring/defoaming effect with a simple and compact structure, capable of reducing a running cost. <P>SOLUTION: An agitation tank 1 supported with inclination at a specified inclination angle α relative to a perpendicular rotary main shaft 6, is made to revolve at a specified speed around the rotary main shaft 6 and to rotate at a low speed on a rotary spindle 20 disposed parallel to the rotary main shaft 6 by a single driving motor 11 to cause the inclination direction of the agitation tank 1 to fluctuate relative to the action direction of the centrifugal force applied to a liquid L to be treated present in the agitation tank 1. Thus, the centrifugal force generated by the revolution of the agitation tank 1 induces not only a movement in the horizontal direction but also a movement in the vertical direction of the liquid L by virtue of a joint action with the fluctuation of the inclination direction of the inclined inner face of the agitation tank 1, to cause the liquid L to flow in the vertical and the horizontal directions (to move three-dimensionally) in the agitation tank 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
