CONTENT REPRODUCTION SYSTEM, CONTENT REPRODUCTION METHOD AND CONTENT REPRODUCTION PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To search a content existing on a network which can be reproduced by a specific user.

SOLUTION: Reproduction devices 3A and 3B receive an ID and password of a user inputted, and transmit a storage folder detection message including the ID, the password and reproduction capacity information of the reproduction devices 3A and 3B to receivers 1A and 1B. The receivers 1A and 1B return a list according to the reproduction capacity information as a content list from a content storage portion storing a content for user corresponding to the ID included in the received storage folder detection message. The reproduction devices 3A and 3B present the content list to the user to acquire a selection of the content, and reproduce the selected content. This makes it possible to search a content for a specific user from the receivers 1A and 1B located on a home network 200.
