A method of transferring a pharmaceutical composition to perform a parenteral administration, said method comprising the steps of: providing a container holding a fluid for parenteral infusion, said container being made of a collapsible material and containing up to 500 ml of a saline solution; providing a connector having at least two spikes, one of said at least two spikes penetrating inside a rubber cap of said container; providing a bottle in the form of a dosage unit having a capacity of 6ml to 9ml and containing the pharmaceutical composition which comprises 5mg of tacrolimus dissolved in 1ml of solvent composed of 200 mg of polyoxyethylenated hydrogenated castor oil (HCO-60) and ethanol q.s. to 1 ml, said bottle adapted for connection to the connector in which at least one other of the at least two spikes perforates a rubber cap of the bottle after removal of a metal cap usually present on top of the rubber cap of the bottle wherein such connection is performed with the bottle being upside down; thereafter applying light pressure to the container, whereupon the fluid for infusion passes through the at least two spikes of the connector in order to wash out the bottle which has an empty volume of between 5ml and 8ml in order to substantially flush out or transfer the pharmaceutical composition from the bottle to the container. |
