PURPOSE: A columnar structure of Korean traditional style house using a steel block and construction method thereof are provided to calculate exact load and to construct higher-stories house. CONSTITUTION: A columnar structure of Korean traditional style house using a steel block is composed like next. The upward and downward columns of the Korean-style house construction are constituted with multiple hollow steel blocks. Each block is securely combined with each other to be piled up in vertical direction. Reinforced concrete is filled inside the post piled up. Column blocks are connected with a beam having U shape open top. Column blocks are filled with reinforced concrete. A floor slab of inter-layer is connected to the U-shape open top beam.
