<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper folding device which can securely fold at a predetermined position and can stably fold for a long period of time irrespective of material and a thickness or the like of a paper sheet. <P>SOLUTION: An upstream side from a nip part of a third roller 55 in a rotating direction is covered with a cover member 56. The cover member 56 delays guiding of a bend of the paper sheet S to a nip part of a second pair of folding rollers, the paper sheet is continuously conveyed by a first pair of folding rollers to form a second bend SB on the paper sheet, and a paper opening on a tip end side from a first folding line is pressed by the second bend SB. Here, an angle θ formed of the nip part of the second pair of folding rollers and a tip end 563 of the cover member 56 is preferably in a range of 25-35° around a shaft of the third roller 55. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
