<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress fragmentation of free memory space. <P>SOLUTION: A memory management method used in an image forming apparatus comprises: storing of DL, FB and compressed data by an RAM 12; managing the deletion order of data stored in the RAM 12 with a memory management table, and sorting the DL, FB and compressed data, which are stored in the RAM 12, so as to arrange them in a continuous space based on the deletion order of each data when performing a defragmentation process of the free space on the RAM 12 by a CPU. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
