<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic simulation device and a traffic simulation program capable of reducing the divergence between reality and a simulation and shortening the time required for the simulation. <P>SOLUTION: A traffic simulation moves vehicle models that mimic vehicles in a road network model 40 including links 42 that mimic the smallest sections of road segmented by traffic intersections or the like and nodes 44 that mimic traffic intersections and road inflection points or the like. In the traffic simulation, the presence/absence is determined of an entering vehicle model that is entering from a link 42 of the road network model 40 to a different link 42 through a node 44, the speed of the entering vehicle model after entering the different link 42 is calculated based on the density of vehicle models in the different link 42 after the entering vehicle model has entered the different link 42, and the calculated speed is set only for the entering vehicle model that entered the different link 42. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
