<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an electromagnetic brake which can reduce uncomfortable feeling of a driver by operation noise of the electromagnetic brake by reducing the number of times of operation of the electromagnetic brake in stopping a vehicle, and can provide smooth start feeling in starting the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The control device of the electromagnetic brake is mounted on a cargo handing vehicle, and is released from a braking state when a brake pedal is stepped on. Braking conditions include a first braking condition when a vehicle speed is being generated and a second braking condition when the vehicle speed is not being generated. The first braking condition is for controlling the electromagnetic brake to be in the braking state or to be released depending on whether the brake pedal is stepped on or not and whether the vehicle speed exceeds a prescribed value or not. In addition, the second braking condition is for controlling the electromagnetic brake to be in the braking state or to be released depending on whether the brake pedal is stepped on or not, and whether a vehicle operation amount exceeds a prescribed value or not. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
