<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the quality of an image recorded on electronic paper. <P>SOLUTION: A first process for forming an image by causing electronic paper, which has charged color particles and displays the image as a result of the charged color particles migrating in a thickness direction, to be conveyed to a gap between two members, where an electric field is generated, by a conveyance member is carried out. Then, a second process for forming the image by causing the electronic paper, which has come out from the gap therebetween, to be further conveyed again to the gap therebetween by the conveyance member is carried out.
