<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric vehicle enabled to run more efficiently. <P>SOLUTION: A control unit 51 estimates a starting time period when starting a fuel cell 10 next time by an FC starting time estimating section 51a, and estimates a starting energy required to start the fuel cell 10 based on the starting time by an FC starting energy estimating section 51b, and calculates a charging quantity required to end an EV traveling based on the starting energy by an EV running end SOC threshold calculating section 51c. Moreover, the starting time is estimated based on system temperature obtained by temperature sensors 55-57.
