<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide effective agents for preventing and treating obesity, hyperlipidemia and arteriosclerotic disease that has a VLDL (very low density lipoprotein) antisecretory action, and that is safe even for a long period of administration and also sufficient enough for reliable treatment thereof, and to provide an oral or parenteral composition, foods or medicines containing the agents. <P>SOLUTION: The VLDL antisecretory agent contains the whole grasses or parts of one or more plants selected from Piper angustifolium (Matico), Thuiopsis dolabrata, Thymus quinquecostatus Celak., Agrimonia eupatoria, Cinnamomum cassia, and Salvia officinalis or an extract thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
