<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a height adjuster of vehicle seat which is equipped with an elastic member which provides elastic restoring force for moving a torque transmission section to the initial position thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The height adjuster of vehicle seat is equipped with an input shaft, into which a torque is inputted through a lever equipped at one side of the seat, an output member connected to a link means through which a torque for adjusting the height of a seat connected to a link means, a clutch drum existing in a torque transmission passage between the input shaft and the output member, a torque transmission unit which is connected through a wedge between the input shaft and the clutch drum to which a plurality of engaging elements are neighbored to each other but the engaging elements at both side ends are separated mutually and the elastic member which provides the elastic restoring force of moving the torque transmitting unit to the initial position. Accordingly, a conventional retainer can be omitted and backlash phenomenon due to storage clearance and operating clearance is prevented whereby an operational efficiency can be raised and a reverse input torque applied on the output member is weakened thereby permitting the resolution of conventional problems in which a reverse input torque applied on the output member is weakened and the deterioration of operational sensibility as well as the generation of noise are generated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
