<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a box for packaging a display device glass substrate, which is composed of foaming material, thereby, capable of acquiring advantages, and also, preventing soiling and minute scratches on the substrate due to the transfer of organic matter or other foreign matter, and which can be easily and perfectly cleaned for reuse thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The box for packaging the display device glass substrate includes a box body 10 and slot plates 20. Each of the slot plates 20 comprises a plate-like member configured to be separated from the box body 10. The corner portions of both sides of the plate-like member in a height direction is elevated and lowered while riding the slot plate insertion grooves 12a to 12d so as to be attachably/detachably joined to the box body 10.
