<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend an automatic engine stopping time as long as possible, while giving no unpleasant feeling to a passenger in a vehicle when the engine of the vehicle equipped with an air conditioner is automatically stopped. <P>SOLUTION: An engine is restarted even if a predetermined engine restarting condition is not established, when predetermined conditions regarding temperatures of a heat exchanger for cooling (evaporator 35) and heat exchanger for heating (heater core 43) are established, during engine automatic stop and an operation of an air conditioner 1; and the predetermined conditions are changed so that an engine automatic stopping time is extended when an opening ratio of inlet of a heating passage 22b, by an air mixed door 46, is a predetermined one or lower, and the increase of a set temperature by a passenger's operation is detected, or when the opening ratio is higher than the predetermined one, and the decrease of the set temperature is detected, during the engine automatic stop and the operation of the air conditioner 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
