<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly transmit a load of a frontal collision that acts on a front side frame body in an axial direction to a floor frame. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle body front part structure includes a front side frame 17, a dashboard lower panel 19, and a floor frame 25 extended from the rear side of the front side frame 17 to a vehicle rearward. The front side frame 17 includes a front side frame body 18 constituted of a body 26 having a U-shape in its cross-section opening outward of the vehicle and a lid member 27 covering the body 26. The front side frame body 18 is formed with a front frame 38 of which the inner wall 43 on the vehicle inner side of the body 26 has a straight form, and a rear frame 41 curved inward from the outward. Furthermore, the front side frame body is built therein with a stiffener 46 coupled to the rear end 48 of the front frame 38 and extending also in the straight form and the front end 47 of the stiffener 46 is provided rearward of a collar nut holding bracket 62 for engine mount attaching. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
