<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water closet capable of tightly fixing a water closet device to a toilet bowl body. <P>SOLUTION: In the water closet, a water closet device 10 provided with functional components is arranged in the rear of a toilet bowl body 1. The toilet bowl body 1 comprises: a bowl 2; a top rear part 5 continuously extending backward from the upper opening part of the bowl 2; and fixing holes 6 vertically extending with its upper end opened in the top rear part 5. The water closet device 10 includes a supporting member 20 and a reinforcing member 50. The supporting member 20, equipped with some functional parts, has fixing members 60 provided extending downward from the under surface of a front part of the water closet device 10. The fixing members 60 are inserted through and fastened to the fixing holes 6 in a state that the front part is mounted on the top rear part 5. The supporting member 20 is fixed to the toilet bowl body 1 with the rear part of the supporting member 20 being protruded from the rear end of the toilet bowl body 1.
